Here’s a look at a few of the productions and locations I’ve worked on. This doesn’t include everything, of course… I’m often far too busy to fool with a still camera. And you’ll notice that I’m not in many of these. That’s because I’m usually the only one who remembers to bring a still camera to a shoot.
Speaking of that, if you happen to have any images from shoots I’ve worked on it the past, email them to me and I’ll post them here… thanks!

NFL Quarterback Brad Johnson interview for NFL Films. That’s producer Steve Lucatuorto on the left, and St. Petersburg DP Dave Barrett

A rare on-screen appearance for a PSA in support of film incentives in TN. This is at my friend John Billing’s newly renovated studio in Nashville.

On location with Loki Films for Anderson Cooper’s American Heroes Thanksgiving Special. Rachael Grady, producer, Julia Dengel, DP, Ted Pio Roda, photographer

My good friend Mark Kennedy shooting in Charleston SC. Mark and I worked together at Channel 2 in the mid ’80’s, and we’ve been fast friends ever since. Mark is the owner of Kennedy Video Services in Charleston, and here was working at the graduation of the College of Chrleston when I was down for a visit.

Shooting with Bobby Stone of Atomic Films. Bobby has one of the few Red cameras in Chattanooga. This was a crazy day… very short setup time, complex setup, multiple talent in front of a seminar audience. While it went OK in the end, there are plenty of things I wish I’d done differently.

In Knoxville shooting for Jay Kriss, In2Focus Films, for XFA and HD Net. These were interviews, bumps, and lead-ins for a live telecast the next day.

Corporate shoot for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee with Mindflow Media. On the left is Dave Porfiri, director, and Leilah Ayub, PA.

At the Marshall Spaceflight Center with Big, Bigger, Biggest, for Windfall Films in London. Airs on the National Geographic Channel and BBC. Lucy Haken, segment producer, Mark Molesworth, DP.

The long tube in the background is part of the ECLSS research lab.(ECLSS stands for Environmental Control and Life Support System) It’s sized to match the International Space Station. Inside is a sealed environment with exercise bikes, treadmills, and changing areas. Volunteers workout for 30 minutes inside while the moisture in the air is recycled into drinking water.

A rare shot with me in it. We’re interviewing the ECLSS director, Bob Badigan. Crew, L-R, Brian Gilbert, audio, Steve Bonser, Director, Mark Molesworth, camera.
